Kung Hei Fat Choi!
We wish you a very prosperous and healthy Year of the Horse!
Neighbourhood First Reunion Lunch
Lunar New Year is about getting together with family and friends, sharing good food, good times and good cheer. However, the underprivileged members of Hong Kong society will not be able to afford lavish celebrations. Let's think of them, now, and set out on the right foot for the Year of the Horse.

Chinese astrology tells us 2014 is the Year of the Wooden or Green Horse, bringing with it plenty of positive attitudes. The horse is regarded as intelligent and reliable, an animal with elegance, power, and compassion, attentive to those in trouble and quick to help those who cannot fight for themselves. What good omens for the year to come.

The Federation has many community engagement programmes which aim to help those at risk, those faced by problems, and those who suffer from poverty. Our recent Neighbourhood First Reunion Lunch on 25 January was an example. 12,000 guests from the heart of our 18 districts were served at table by 100 teams of young people. With the support of many senior government and district council officials there were touching scenes of caring, love and neighbourliness.
