A Christmas blessed with a cappella greetings
a cappella singers, Mrs Carrie Lam & Dr Rosanna Wong
What better way to celebrate Christmas than with music. The Hong Kong Melody Makers and three overseas ensembles including The Exchange will bring their wonderful a cappella sound to audiences on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, filling the air with seasonal classics.

From 7-8pm on Christmas Eve, two renowned a cappella groups, The Exchange from the US, and SOLZICK from Japan, will be singing with local duo Robynn & Kendy at the Gateway Arcade, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui. On Christmas Day from 4-8pm they will be back with the Hong Kong Melody Makers and The Singers from Denmark at Piazza C, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, for Singing Up Hong Kong, a Co-create Campaign event sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

As part of our commitment to promoting a cappella education programmes in schools throughout the city, we kicked off the season's events recently with a well-supported Hong Kong International a cappella Contest, launching a new series in the HKFYG Jockey Club a cappella Education Programme. We believe this is a wonderful way not only to enable young people to learn about music, but help create it as well.

So let's get into the Christmas and a cappella spirit - come and listen to some great music!
