Youth Matters
Look to the future

We would like to thank all partners who have stood by us over the last year, encouraging, supporting and nurturing our mission and work. Because of you, HKFYG has been able to serve the youth of Hong Kong and we are grateful for your investment in the next generation.

As a result of your partnership, we are able to provide guidance to teenagers about exams, drugs, online risks and troubled relationships. The social workers work through hotlines, on the web, at the Youth Wellness Centre, in schools and out on the streets. In our Tin Shui Wai schools, partnership projects help children with English. At the Centre for Leadership Development youngsters learn about teamwork and decision-making. The Youth Employment Centre helps young entrepreneurs start up in business and maximize their potential. These are but a few examples of how much your partnership matters.

Looking forward to the new year, we have launched a major project called Neighbourhood First. It mobilizes young people to build community ties through acts of service and care. Our hope is to put the heart back into our neighbourhoods. Again, thank you for all your support. We look forward to continued collaborations and partnerships in 2012. Each gift you make, whether in time, resources or expertise, is of inestimable value.

With our very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
