HKFYG new books 2011
HKFYG at the 2011 Hong Kong Book Fair extravaganza
An estimated one million people are flocking to the city's book fair this year, picking up bargains, learning about writing, and meeting some of the
world's top authors. HKFYG is among over 520 exhibitors, not only there to sell its latest new books (see below) but also to host talks by invited speakers in a series called Creative @ uChannel Talk Series.

The Federation has invited local celebrity, Douglas Young of G.O.D. to speak today, 20 July, on entrepreneurship. In the next few days DJ, Matt Chow Hoi-kwong, will talk about creative communication, Juju Chan, a local writer, will tell the audience about creativity as part of living. Then composer, Siu Hak, and singer song-writer, Louis Cheung, will speak about their passion for music. All the talks will be broadcast on HKFYG's radio, uChannel.

Our guests feature in forums open to the public as well as well-known local writers such Xi Xi, and a group of British authors. Such concerted efforts help to establish the Hong Kong Book Fair firmly among the world's elite fairs as well as encouraging the young to visit, read and write creatively.

Don't miss it. Come and see us at Booth IC D37. Click here for further information on the talks.
