YBHK launches the first HSBC Youth Business Award
YBHK launches the first HSBC Youth Business Award
Organised by Youth Business Hong Kong (YBHK) of The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and solely sponsored by HSBC, the "HSBC Youth Business Award"
encourages youth entrepreneurship by aiming to recognise young enterprises that are creative, innovative and which offer exceptional services. The Award will also help promote public recognition of the contribution made by young enterprises to the local economy, which in turn enables a culture of entrepreneurship to flourish.

The synergy of YBHK and the business sector is strengthened by the support of the Government's Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC).

The Award is now open for application. The criteria for application are: business enterprises owned by young people aged from 18 to 40 and which are incorporated in Hong Kong. The businesses should have also commenced operations between 1 and 7 years. The Award also offers the opportunity for young entrepreneurs to learn from each other while competing to win attractive prizes worth of over HK$350,000 including cash and free advertisements.
