50th Anniversary Gala Dinner
50th Anniversary Gala Dinner: thank you for celebrating with us!
To all 600 guests who joined us on the evening of Monday 6 December, to all who helped, and to all who have contributed in so many ways to the Federation's first 50 years, thank you! This heart-warming celebration of our services to Hong Kong youth was graced by the presence of The Hon. Donald Tsang, Chief Executive and Mr. Peng Qinghua, Minister of the Liaison Office as Guests of Honour. Dignitaries, community and business leaders, sponsors and partners, staff of the Federation and many young people were with us.

Inspired singing by Dr Moses Cheng of You raise me up, then Descendents of the Dragon from Mr Raymond Young and The Lady is a 'Champ' from Mr Anthony Chow, made for an unforgettable evening at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. A spectacular performance of modern dance and a cappella singing by the HKFYG Hong Kong Melody Makers completed a sparkling celebration of fifty years with an organisation that has brought hope and focus to successive younger generations.

Thank you to every one of you who has helped us come this far. Let's continue moving forward together joyfully with young people, into the future.

They include members, past colleagues, partners, volunteers and supporters. In four sections called Opportunities, Thankful, A Mission to Pass On and Raising up, they reflect on how our services helped people maximize their opportunities and potential, the chance to make positive changes in their lives, and they talk about how volunteering and exchange helped them pass on our messages and mission.
