Hong Kong Young Ambassadors
Youth get moving and help others
You have probably seen the signs around town saying
"Get Moving! Volunteers Support Clean Hong Kong Campaign." HKFYG is one of the co-organizers and 200 of our youth volunteers recently joined the 2,000 others already mobilized. Not only do they help senior citizens keep their homes clean during the swine flu alert, they perform many other tasks to keep the city clean.

Many people say how happy they feel as a result of helping others. The Hong Kong Young Ambassadors feel this way when they meet and greet visitors at our tourist attractions and cultural sites on a scheme sponsored by the Tourism Commission. Everyone seems charmed by their friendly attitude and helpful advice. Schemes such as these instil a sense of responsibility as well as bring about a feeling of fulfilment. These are values that the HKFYG hopes to encourage and nurture in all our young people.
