Celebrating the PRC's 60th anniversary
In the run up to the anniversary in October, the Federation will offer four exciting and unique activities to inspire young people about their Motherland. We very much hope that through these programmes, they will learn not only about China today but also its history, society, culture and recent achievements. We believe that these experiences will encourage them to see with their own eyes how they can be enriched by being connected with their nation.

For the next nine months, the following programmes will be held: 14 well known and respected films focusing on the culture, livelihood and history of the Mainland; an exchange programme with young people who have never had the opportunity to cross the border; a web based competition for creative works on a national theme; and a special gift: a compilation of essays by 60 Youth Ambassadors.

The celebrations were kicked off last Saturday with the showing of the film, National Anthem, in the presence of many guests including, Mrs Rita Fan, Mr Stephen Lam Sui-lung, Mr Zhang Chun Sheng, Ms Fai Fei, Dr K.K. Chan, Ms Grace Lui and Ms Catherine Lam.
