Shoulder to Shoulder: supporting less well-off parents in hard times
When money is scarce, extracurricular programmes become increasingly difficult to afford. That's why we launched the service voucher scheme, announced on 27 November. The vouchers can be used at HKFYG Youth SPOTs for after school care and help with homework, outdoor activities and special interest classes for children and youth.

Applications from 2,000 needy families for vouchers worth up to HK$500 per child are being processed. They will pay for services at Youth SPOTs till the end of 2009. The aim is to help low-income families sustain their current use of Federation services throughout the peak of the economic downturn. We are here as a shoulder to lean on. We are here for those who need us. Contact Katie, tel 3755 7076 for more information.
