1990: night drifters made good
Fung, Wan, Kit, Lung, once easy prey for triads, took our outreach music classes, formed a pop band and learned how to make great music. As all four of them were born in 1990 so they named their band after the year.

Since then they have been a big hit at talent and community shows and with their growing social skills, musical skills and a direction in life they've had plenty of reinforcement. Enthusiastic audiences and positive feedback in their community mean they now have the confidence to create their own style. So when Starbucks invited them to play in aid of environment protection they were quite happy to use home-made maracas, with old water bottles filled with coffee beans. What a cool way to promote a green way of life.

Being creative is just so meaningful when others can enjoy it too ...
' Fung

They used to hang out on the streets and get in trouble but the skills they learned with us mean they can now serve the community. Their self esteem has sky-rocketed. This is how counselling should work...
